I had just finished the first cup of tea and was going back for my second. I poured the water from my tea kettle into the cup and attached the steeping chamber. I then slowly turned the product upside down so that the tea could begin steeping. I was on my way back to my laptop when the cup literally exploded in my hand.
The cup was not cold and the water was not boiling so I am not sure what exactly happened. Thankfully I just got a few minor burns from the hot water.
